Nonkululeko Dube

Nonkululeko commenced her articles of clerkship in January 2023 under the supervision of Anabela Da Silva and John-Carlos Atouguia. Nonkululeko also assists Sharon Wapnick and Russell Kantor from time to time.

Her experience includes litigation with a focus on commercial, criminal law and family law matters, legal research, drafting of legal opinions and the assessment and commenting on contracts. Nonkululeko also works on estate matters.  From time to time, Nonkululeko appears in criminal and civil matters before the Magistrates Court.

Nonkululeko’s achievements include acting as a mentor for high school learners and first year students at the University of the Witwatersrand; participation as a member of the Wits Moot Society and Thulamela Junior Moot Competitions, where she enhanced her skills in Trial Advocacy; acting as a student legal counsellor at the Wits Law Clinic where she diligently assisted members of the public with their legal matters; participation in the Johannesburg Attorneys Association Court Filing Project and acting as a trustee under a residential managing agent, specifically tasked with ensuring POPIA compliance.

Nonkululeko’s areas of expertise include Alternative Dispute Resolution, Commercial and Criminal Litigation, Wills and Estates, Family Law, Commercial Law.

Bachelor of Arts Humanities from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2020 with a double major in Comparative Politics and International Relations Theory and Research Methods
Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2023

Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
